Drill of the Month - MayBack Door PlayBack Door Plays are seen mostly while short handed. The key for these is recognizing the back door threat and being strong enough to get there. When the pass is made made sure you get square to the shooter and preferably get there with a butterfly slide. The shooter can rotate between 1 and 2 to change the length the goalie must cover. Make sure you do not lead with your butt!!! (click on image to enlarge) Selected photos courtesy of OHLPhotos.com

![]() Scott's training helped me make the jump from minor hockey to junior B and from junior B to the OHL. He brings so much playing experience and a great deal of knowledge when coaching young goalies. His drills are designed for the game of today and can help a young goalie improve his game.
